What are some good business phone companies?
Q. I am starting Monday for a media company that just launched recently and apparently they do not have any business phones yet and are using their cell phones. I know that setting this up is going to be one of my first priorities and I wanted to go ahead and get some ideas so I could go in Monday and make a good impression :) Btw, I live in Atlanta, GA and the company is probably going to need around about maximum 10 phones with all standardized options such as transfer, voicemail, extensions, etc...

Does not protect you from personal liability as a director- if it can be shown that you continued trading when the company was insolvent you can be held to be personally liable for the debts of the company. Directors must be fully aware of the financial operations of the company to prevent it trading while insolvent. Q. If I have a data center where I can set up the servers and the necessary software, what is the best way to sell the hosting service where I will manage and support the business applications for companies? Basically, I will be the outsourcing company for the applications and off-loading the work from the client companies. How does communism protect business companies? By disabeling competitors?
Q. With government regulations that don't allow imports? By not allowing so many imports? .. Please help me .. anyone?
Asked by maybeline - Wed Mar 26 06:37:00 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Well, under strict communism, the state (or rather, the people) owns everything. The only private business under the Stalin version were run by individuals who could not hire anyone. Since all businesses are owned by the government, why have two of anything? Grocery stores would be located by a formula rather than letting supply and demand dictate how many were in an area. The business has no competition so it is protected.

Some companies include in their policies about preferences on age, height, looks, weight, and even what school you came from, the language you can speak and etc. It all depends on the nature of business of the company. i hope you won't call me a troll as you did with this one:

Do business companies generally hire someone with a Masters in English?
Q. I know an MBA would be better of course but are they in need or receptive to those people who got a Masters in English?
Asked by Gonzo - Sun Aug 17 14:20:04 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. I have had instances where I hid my MBA from my Resume. On a reply mail that a division manager sent to his supervisors (and that I got by mistake), he expressed his concerns about hiring someone with so much education. An MBA (or graduate degree in general) alone will not cut the cheese, and can actually hurt you. Many potential employers will see you as too expensive and mobile a candidate. Others will simply not hire someone with higher levels of education than themselves. I wish I could tell you otherwise, but the MBA has in occassions been a liability to me. I guess I am saying, your MA in arts might be as good as the MBA. I am also saying, good luck with it! I could not do much with my degree.

How do we encourage pet food companies to change the way they do business?
Q. Now that many of our pets have died, and many pet food manufacturers (including Purina) are recalling their products, how do we go about changing the way that pet food companies conduct their business? How do we insist that they stop outsourcing their business to suspect countries, suspect vendors, thereby endangering our precious pets? Humans will be next to be endangered by the "outsourced" food industry, mark my words.

searching for companies that give business lines of credit?
Q. I was wondering if someone knew of someother companies that gives trade lines of credit without a personal gurantee? I have a small business and I'm trying to build my paydex score. Some companies are charging a large fee to supposedly give you acess to these companies. I already have places like kinkos but I'm looking for some others.
Asked by D bo - Thu Jan 31 21:18:41 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Building your company DNB Paydex Score is a very important step that most business owner miss out. At our office we see small business owner obtain $35,000 and more in business credit lines through the use of their Paydex Score (typically 75 and higher). A business can grow the Paydex Score and obtain credit lines along the way simply by hiring a professional mentoring service. Begin your search online via google or yahoo. Search for "strong business credit" (just like that in quotes) through the search engines and you will see that the Trade Line List (otherwise known as a Vendor List) is available for $400-$900. Which insurance companies often do business with China?
Q. I'm looking into becoming an actuary, and being that I now have US citizenship but was born in China, I was hoping to find a job where I can work for an US company (since working for a Chinese company would mean changing my citizenship I believe) but live in China with the rest of my family. Does anyone know which insurance companies often do business with China? And what steps should I take to achieve this?
Asked by MusicFan - Sat Aug 16 03:30:30 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. You're doing this backwards. You have to go to China, the yellow pages, or whatever, and see which insurance companies have a presence there. I don't know if there are ANY, though. China is a communist country - I doubt they'd allow a US insurance company to operate a US based business there.
