Instead of the child welfare system providing an alternative and counseling, they take the children indefinitely and break apart a family that is probably worth saving. In these situations, family preservation is not only an option, but with provisions it is the ideal, as opposed to the child being traumatized by an unnecessary separation and the fit parent left with unnecessary heartache. Does this poem have a flow?
Q. ok so we weere supposed to pick a few sentences from our response and make it into a poem., but i want to know if it has a flow Knowledge is like a river than a lake More and more dominated by the flow than by the stock. A wealth of information creates a poverty of attention. People have more difficulty today than before in paying attention to a single thing. By accepting that the information flow is something we should pay attention to, We lose the inherent ability we naturally posses to focus on what is important. First, we create the need, and then we fill the need. Technology will always be a double-edged sword.

Q. Please, with knowledge and wisdom, answer the question I so dearly need an answer for. I've lived in a small suburb and went to school with the same people since kindergarten and had the same bestfriend and boyfriend since middle school. Now it's time for college and the best college to go to is Stanford but thats half way across the USA from where I live. My guy keeps telling me to stay and go to a community college and my BFF thinks I should go with her to some other college but thats still away from the people I care about. What should I do- opinions and answers please?

A. If you think you're emotionally capable, go to Stanford. Don't give up a big opportunity merely to remain in your comfortable little world. The experience will force you to grow and expand in ways you can't even imagine. Now, if you think you're simply not capable of handling going to Stanford, then don't. It would be worse to be traumatized by the experience. Whatever you do, don't give up a chance to go to Stanford in order to cling to your current life. That will doom you to a very small life and you'll always regret it.

A. If you ever have trouble understanding a question, try re-reading it, highlighting 'key facts' and then drawing a picture. what do I need to include in a reflection paper that discusses a game/activity my class played?
Q. my AP government class played a game today in which we learned about capitalism, the goal of politics, and the fact that the taxman allways wins. At the end of the hour, our teacher announced that a 2 page reflection paper about this assignment was due friday. sooo, my idea/understanding of it is to take a stand on one of the following and stick with whichever one my words flow best with: 1. how this assignment improved our understanding of ... 2. how necessary ... is in capitalism and trade, and how this assignment was an example of it or enriched our knowledge of it. 3.or maybe something else. Do I have the right idea? or is a reflection supposed to focus on something else?
Asked by ... - Wed Sep 20 19:10:25 2006 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. I think you're on the right track. Since 2 pages is pretty long, I'd advise starting with a short (3-4 sentences) summary of the activity is. Follow that up with what it simulated, how it relates to the real world, how it relates to what else you've been learning in class. Also include any important vocab words that you understand better due to the activity (capitalism, etc). This should be the bulk of the paper. At the conclusion, I would suggest making a more personal connection. How did this activity affect you and your understanding/opinion of the world around you? How have you matured due to this activity? What will you take from it? Good luck!

Good luck!

Q. Blood pressure can change in response to changes in activity to provide for the increased demand for blood flow. However, different types of exercise have different effects on blood pressure. For example, we see a significant increase in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure during upper body anaerobic exercise and not during lower body aerobic activity. Using your knowledge of cardiovascular physiology explain why this is the case. Make sure to include a discussion of the factors that affect blood pressure!
