what are the tax legalities of doing business in s. korea and billing to an offshore company?
Q. I'm interested in conducting conducting consulting services in south korea and billing prospective clients to an off-shore account. I do not want to set up the company withing s. korea because the tax rates are too high and you need $50,000 USD to incorporate as a foreigner. If I set up an IBC (International Business Company) and get clients to transfer fees to my off-shore company will there be any tax issues or legalities which I should be aware of? Also, concerning my prospective clients, will their companies be forbidden from sending fees to my off-shore company?

A. Generally your plan sounds workable. You need to check and see if south korea can send payments offshore easily, normally no problems. You can have an offshore company bill for your services or goods. See these webpages for more info:

Could someone give me a list of business companies to work for?
Q. I m currently a sophomore in high school and lately I ve really been concerned about my future. I'm a very clean-cut and professional young man. I really would like to do a business related job. I'm really good at computers which brings me to the idea of working for Microsoft. According to Fortune.com, it says that a Software Development Engineer makes an average of $112,399 which is great for my extravagant lifestyle. So with that being said, could someone please tell me how I would go about doing this? What should I major in, what state has the best companies, etc.? ___ I hear getting a job at Microsoft is a bit difficult, so I would love it if you guys would also give me other companies that I should consider.

A. I have no knowledge about any other companies, but Xerox corporation pays extremely well and takes care of their employees. My grandpa was making around $100,000+ a year when he retired (and this was over ten years ago). He worked there for almost 20 years. He started off writing complex programs for the Tandy corporation (which is now Radioshack), from with'n Xerox. He retired as an engineer, his job was to build lasers for a variety of applications. Not many people know this but Xerox creates electronics for nearly every industry, including military. This is a serious response and following up on this can be a very lucrative decision. I'm not sure what the salary cap is, but my grandpa said there were people there making 3-5 times what… [cont.]
