How did you learn to use a computer? Are you still learning new things about using a computer?
Q. What are you learning now or are your finished learning? Did you grow up using a computer or take a class or buy one & use the tutorials? Tell us how you learned & if you don't mind tell your age...I am 50 & I used to use one to sell auto & home insurance & I used the internet but just started to learn Microsoft word by tutorials. I also use e-mail but I feel like I am overwhelmed or a slow learner.

A. When I was about 40, I asked my secretary to so how me, but she was pretty intimidating , and made me feel stupid. Besides, I never had to use it. I always was afraid that I might break something and get into trouble. One day when she was out and nobody was available to help me. I had to answer questions and do a critique completely in 2 hours. I panicked, but some of the things she showed me came back into my memory, I completed the report on time and felt very proud of myself. Ever since I have used computers,Google, go onto the internet and participate in Y/A. I must confess however that I am somewhat addicted, and isolated because I spend lots of time now on the computer. I would like to learn now, how to cut and paste, Excel… [cont.]
