A. If it is a CHAPS (same day if done before lunch) transfer then yes there will be a charge. If it can be done online by BA CS and a 3 day wait is OK then it will be free (some BACS are now immediate if both banks have got all the "Faster pay" stuff up and working)

How do I transfer my entire iTunes account to a different computer?
Q. I just got a laptop and I'm trying to transfer my ENTIRE iTunes account from my old desktop to my new laptop but I'm not sure how. I did it for my mom a while ago but her entire account fits on her library so I think I just transferred the purchases. I have way more and its not just songs there's a ton of games and videos too. Should I just transfer my purchases, take everything off my iPod, then go back and transfer the rest?

How to transfer a scanned document back to original after editing by OCR?
Q. I used my MS Image writer to transfer a scanned document to word. However, the images didn't transfer. I just want to edit the text then transfer it back so the images reappear. Once my document is edited, I want to email it. How do I do this?
Asked by Brooke McConnell - Fri Oct 16 00:32:49 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. That is not possible. Once you do the OCR - all formatting and image tags are cleared and the document becomes an ordinary text document - without formatting. You cannot recover the original Best way would be to retain the original and OCR a duplicate file. And Make another copy of your originally scanned file and overpaste the edited text by making boxes onto the original text. It might work. By making copies, you ensure that if something is not coming out correctly, you have the original scanned image with you

How to transfer bought and CD songs to a different iTunes library?
Q. I just bought a Dell laptop and I wanted to transfer all of my songs to the new iTunes library that I have on my laptop. I tried it and it only transferred the songs I bought off of iTunes. So, I need help transferring the iTunes bought songs and the songs I uploaded through CDs

A. Hmmm, the songs that you uploaded through CDs could be gotten much easier if they were backed up somewhere Here are some options: 1. If you have a flash drive and your old computer still works fine then transfer your songs onto the drive using your old computer. Then plug the drive into your new PC and transfer the songs from it onto your new computer and then into iTunes 2. Again if your old computer still works fine then upload all of your CD music to a site like www.adrive.com/ from your old then get on your new PC and download them from there (just sign in with your account and download) then put them into iTunes 3. There is something called windows easy transfer or something like that that transfers files between windows PC's . I… [cont.]

A. Anything you purchased in iTunes will not transfer to your Rhapsody library due to DRM placed in the files by Apple. That's how anti-piracy has hurt you, anybody else have a complaint? I have a few.

A. After you have attached the cable you were provided with from your camera to the computer make sure your camera is switched ON. The computer should automatically ask you if you want to open the file. If it doesn't find "My Computer" on the desktop. Open it. It will give you a choice of several different drives - you are looking for the samsung. Open it. The pictures should then start to appear. Then click "ctrl A". All the pictures will become highlighted. Now right click and open "new folder". On the desktop open the "new folder" and now click "ctrl C" within the folder. The photos will then copy into the folder. You can now rename the folder by clicking in the name "new folder" and typing a new name. You can then move this folder to… [cont.]

What are the requirements to transfer to Arizona State University?
Q. I'm currently a Senior in high school and I'm going to be attending community college here in California. I know that transferring out of community college is taking longer. But I was wondering what are the EXACT requirements to transfer to ASU? I really want to transfer there after I receive my General Education. I plan to work my ass off and take Summer classes so I can leave in two years. Are the requirements the same to transfer to a CSU or a UC? Thanks!
Asked by :0 - Thu Apr 15 00:37:26 2010 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. ASU has a 92% acceptance rate... most likely even a little higher for transfer students.. you probably won't have any issues going in. The exact requirements are.. Transfer applicants must meet at least one of the following: * Be a high school graduate. * Complete an Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) at an accredited Arizona community college. * Complete an associate degree or higher You also will need a 2.5 GPA or higher to be assured admittance. 2.00 - 2.49 GPA are still considered, however. Here's a website that pertains particularly to California community college transfers to ASU: Transferring to a CSU or a UC is more difficult, and the requirements depend on which you are choosing.

A. Go to the Playback menu options>copy (allows you to copy between internal memory and memory card and vice versa) I noticed in the Playback menu there is a transfer marking item, which might allow you to select the photos being transferred.

A. unfortunately it is impossible to trade from blue into heart gold. heart gold can only trade with soul silver, platinum, diamond and pearl versions. you can also send pokemon to heart gold from ruby, sapphire, emerald, fire red, and leaf green by using the game boy slot on the ds or ds lite. blue version can only trade with red, yellow, gold, and silver versions.

A. If you have two accounts at the same bank and can access them online, you can probably do an instant transfer from one to the other. It is very easy. If you have accounts at two different banks, you can use the online BillPay system to transfer $ from one to the other. I have done both.

A. the fastest/easiest way is to copy all the music to a portable hard-drive (drag-and-drop) the iTunes folder to the hard-drive and then disconnect from the old computer, connect to the new and then copy from the hard-drive to "My Music" on your new computer. If you have a wireless lan at home and share files on your computers you can do it thru the lan, but it will be much slower. other choices: burn DVDs using the iTunes (File->Back Up To Disc) and create DVDs, this will also take a while. ps: I don't know what a transfer cable does on Vista, if you see your old computer as a drive on your new computer, then you should be able to drag and drop via Windows Explorer IF the old computer's hard-drive can be seen from the new one... but… [cont.]

Q. Does anyone know what the steps are to transfer money from Canada to a Bank of China account in Hong Kong? I don't have a Bank of China account, but I think I could transfer money via my own bank account, or walk into the Bank of China branch in Canada and do the transfer? However, what is involved with this process? Service charge? How long does it take? How secure is it? A. The best thing you can do is to visit the bank (your bank where you have an account or the bank that you are going to send the money from). There, go to the custumer care officer and I am sure your questions above will be professionally, completely, clearly answered.

How to transfer bacterial colony from a plate to another?
Q. If I have a colony of bacteria growing on a plate and I want to transfer it aseptically to another plate. What should I do? Do I transfer some of it with a needle to a broth, mix it well and streak this broth onto another plate?

A. If you don't have access to disposible loops, you can make one from wire, use the tip of a sharp pencil to form the loop, that will be about the size of a 10 uL. You will need to flame the loop, give it a minute to cool then transfer the colony to the desired plate. Use either a 3 or 4 way streak for Isolation. You can always use it like a needle too, just be careful not to plough up the agar. Used to have to do it that way til we got sterile loops.

A. there is no disconnect sight rule for a sub-panel.that rule is for equipment such as HVAC units, water heater to name just a few. also a sub-panel does not require a main breaker Local code my differ but must be as good as or better than the NEC Now to answer your question . YES The transfer switch is also a disconnect. House power.to sub-panel Generator to sub-panel Off or open no power to sub-panel Hope this helps

How to transfer a conifer into a pot?
Q. I want to transfer a small dwarf conifer from the ground into a large pot. Do I need to add anything to the pot or soil or can I just transfer the soil from the ground into th pot?

A. Check the pH tolerance of the conifer and ensure the compost used is adjusted accordingly. I did the same last year, only to find that due to the size of conifer (also only a dwarf) they could not be kept wet enough to survive the summer. I am sure it was just me though.
